BUENOS AIRES, April 18 (Xinhua) -- Argentina on Sunday reported 16,267 COVID-19 infections and 65 more related deaths in a day, bringing the national tallies to 2,694,014 and 59,228 respectively, said the country's health ministry.
Currently, the country has 270,615 active cases and 2,364,171 patients have recovered.
According to the public vaccination monitor, Argentina has administered more than 6.2 million doses of vaccines since Dec. 29.
The social, preventive, and mandatory distancing measures currently in place in the country will last until April 30. Enditem
