TBILISI, Oct. 24 (Xinhua) -- Georgia reported 1,941 new COVID-19 cases on Saturday, the highest since the outbreak of the virus in the country, bringing its total to 26,503.
A total of 1,034 of the 1,941 new cases were confirmed in the capital city of Tbilisi, the National Center for Disease Control and Public Health (NCDC) said.
As of Saturday, 10,163 of the 26,503 patients have recovered, while 193 others have died, said the center.
Georgia reported its first confirmed case on Feb. 26. Enditem
