JAKARTA, June 19 (Xinhua) -- The COVID-19 cases in Indonesia rose by 12,906 within one day to 1,976,172, with the death toll adding by 248 to 54,291, the Health Ministry said on Saturday.
According to the ministry, 7,016 more people were discharged from hospitals, bringing the total number of recovered patients to 1,786,143.
The virus has spread to all the country's 34 provinces.
Specifically, within the past 24 hours, Jakarta recorded 4,895 new cases, West Java 2,104, Central Java 1,877, East Java 693 and Yogyakarta 638. Enditem
