BISHKEK, Nov. 17 (Xinhua) -- Kyrgyzstan will vaccinate pregnant women and adolescents against the COVID-19, the health ministry said Wednesday.
The country will begin to vaccinate adolescents between 16-18 years old, as well as pregnant and lactating women from Wednesday, the ministry's press service said.
To date, over 1 million people in the country have been inoculated, and 830,720 of them have received two doses.
As of Wednesday, the country with a population of about 6.5 million has registered 182,605 COVID-19 infections. In total, 177,108 of the patients have recovered, while 2,712 people have died from the disease. Enditem
