YANGON, Nov. 29 (Xinhua) -- The number of COVID-19 infections has risen to 521,931 with 19,097 deaths in Myanmar on Monday, according to a release from the Ministry of Health.
The country reported 370 new COVID-19 cases with daily test positivity rate of 1.85 percent and nine more deaths in the past 24 hours, the release said.
A total of 496,660 patients have been discharged from hospitals and over 5.56 million samples have been tested for COVID-19 so far.
Myanmar detected its first two COVID-19 positive cases on March 23 last year. Enditem
